Uprated alloy water radiator
with upgraded cooling capacity. The high-efficiency core measures a height of 45mm and bears extensively more volume compared to the OEM part with 35mm. The side boxes are made of alloy. Those of the OEM radiators are made of plastic and therefore well-known for bursting without premonition. Extensive repair costs are the result. The installation of this radiator requires some slight modifications. This version is recommended for increased power-rated (especially super- and turbo-charged) cars!
Does fit to Exige S V6 up to MY2015, but doesn't fit to Exige Sport 350 cars!
Hose kit consists of 12 hoses for all Elises with Rover engine. There are the hoses of the engine bay and two hoses on the water radiator. The modern silicon technology makes the hoses very heat and pressure resistant. Also, the retain more flexibility over time, compared to the standard hose. Available in blue.
We are now seeing more and more of the original Lotus coolant expansion tanks which are becoming brittle and eventually simply fall apart.Unfortunately, the OE expansion tank turns out to be quite an expensive part compared to for instance the Rover part.We have found a solution for this.. the Moroso full Aluminium Coolant Expansion Tank which we sell including the cap! This solution will help you getting rid of the faulty original design tank and it’ll work fine for many more years..
When things go wrong in terms of a head gasket failure, you will find that the expansion tank has turned brown after solving all problems. Also, over time, the coolant tank will start to look a bit grubby. This is the original coolant tank as used in production. It simply recplaces the old one and makes your engine bay look right again!
Alloy Header TankBuilt as a direct replacement for the original plastic tank. The plastic one is getting worse, because of UV for example. Already our Alloy-Version looks always fine! We have got three different finishes available: polished, satin black and satin silver. Also we can supply a sight glas as an optional extra, aswell as a high pressure cap (order separately).
Even when you use the correct specified coolant, the waterpump is still subject to corrosion over the years. Certainly when your car has suffered from a headgasket failure, where other substances may get into the coolant channels, the water pump is suffering. This pump will flow 200 litres per minute.
If you enjoy pushing your car to its limits on track days and have enhanced the engine performance, installing this 82° thermostat can effectively regulate the engine temperature.By opening 7° earlier than the stock thermostat, it lowers the average coolant temperature, allowing the system to engage sooner. While we advise utilizing a remote thermostat and water-to-oil cooler for highly modified engines, if you seek a cost-effective and immediate solution, this thermostat fits the bill! This product fits:Elise Mk1 RoverElise Mk2 Rover340R
Every pressurized system needs a protection mechanism to prevent it from building up too much pressure. If the system builds up too much pressure (or the cap gets stuck) something has to go.The weakest part will be the plastic side caps at the radiator, so they will blow. You can’t really blame that on the design of the radiator if you’re not sure about the pressure in the system. Our rule of thumb lifespan for a Coolant Reservoir Pressure Cap is two years. From there, it will either start to get loose (boiling, temperature going up manically) or it’ll get stuck (radiator or pipes blowing up).Think about it, this cap is easy to replace, it’s cheap compared to the original part. It simply is disaster prevention!
This cap is suitable for all Elises, Exiges and Evoras with a Toyota drivetrain.
