Nitron NTR46 Race (3-way adjustable)
The NTR 46mm Race shocks have competed in hundreds of races and benefit from a decade of evolution. Run on the original factory GT3 Exiges, these shocks have been honed to perfection and use Nitron’s very best parts combined with an unrivalled development program.
Using the superior 46mm piston from the RacePro range of NTR shocks; this kit is designed for serious race use and has been adopted (where regulations permit) in almost every Lotus race series around the world. The kit comprises four 3-way adjustable dampers with fitted springs. Tailored to high-profile drivers, the NTR Race shock’s performance is achieved through accurate control of its 3-way independent damping. Instant feedback is transmitted from the wheels, allowing the limits of traction to be confidently explored. These shocks are designed to run inverted for reduced unsprung mass and therefore optimum performance. Dampers are delivered preset with a full compliment of bearing spacers ready to fit to the car. The kit comes with helper springs front and rear with increased rear wheel droop for extra cornering grip.
Note: Due to the design of the suspension for track use there may be higher driving noises!

Nitron NTR40 Fast Road Suspension Kit
The Fast Road is the entry level NTR shock available as a 1-way adjustable damper. This shock is popular with predominantly road-use customers who drive hard and fast; demanding the best from the chassis but require a degree of comfort. Softer valving and springs combined with the ability to run at original ride heights (and slightly lowered if required) result in a great road shock with superb all-round capabilities. As this shock is part of the NTR range it will perform consistently during a week of blasting round the Nurburgring if required and can be rebuilt to any of the other NTR specifications in the future. The kit comprises four 1-way adjustable dampers with fitted springs. The single adjuster knob affects both bump and rebound for simple setup with a road-biased spec. These shocks are designed to run inverted for reduced unsprung mass and therefore optimum performance.
Standard-Setups:
Elise & Exige Mk1 / Elise Mk2 Rover: front 400lbs, rear 475lbs (Mk2 +Helper)
Elise Mk2 & Mk3 / Exige Mk2 Toyota (ZZ & ZR): front 425lbs, rear 550lbs+Helper
Before beginning production of the first Elise models, Lotus built a pinion with 8 teeth in the steering rack, which had a more direct steering behaviour. Due to concerns that "normal" drivers would have difficulties with this, Lotus decided to change the pinion to 7 teeth for production. We have tried the 8tooth pinion in our test car and have found it to be absolute fun. We have not noted any added "nervousness" of the car on straights. Instead, we have seen a notable positive difference in the curves. We are now offering this shorter ratio steering rack as new part. No exchange required.
Not usable for cars with ESP!Steering rack MK1/MK2/Exige and 111R
Motorsport Front Suspension Arms lower (2piece)
Due to its triangular shape and precise construction, it offers improved stability, steering response, and handling characteristics, especially under demanding motorsport conditions.
Motorsport Rear Suspension Arms upper (2piece)
Due to its triangular shape and precise construction, it offers improved stability, steering response, and handling characteristics, especially under demanding motorsport conditions.
The Elise has very sporty driving and is often also moves accordingly. As a result, suspension parts and bearings are of course claimed higher. Worn out and worn hard rubber bushings, ball joints and bearings lead to incorrect handling and often unpleasant rattling noises. We believe that it is useful to also something less visible, but all the more tangible "tuning" to invest -measures. Rather than new, fancier wheels or a carbon interior trim for the same money you can win by our suspension FreshUp fun to drive and contribute to value preservation and safety. In the pictures you can see a good before / after comparison.FreshUp program:Remove the wishbonesSqueeze bushes and ball jointsRadiate wishbone and plastic coating in silver or blackUse Powerflex bushesPressing wishbonesInstall wishbonesReplace tie rod ends of the steeringMeasure and adjust toe and camberAdditional option:Remove the alloy axle (only Elise MK 1)Squeeze wheel bearings (only Elise MK 1)Glass bead blasting alloy axle alternatively (steel axle) plastic-coatingPress new wheel bearings (only Elise MK 1)Radiate wheel flangesInstall the axleAll prices include labour and parts!
Standard cars come with a rubber / metal combination bush, which is the only option for a manufacturer and isolates noise well. However, when it comes to freedom of rotation, and accurate location of the wishbone ends under load, it leaves a lot to be desired. The Nitron wishbone bearing kit replaces all the inner rubber bushes with Teflon lined spherical bearings. These are typically frozen prior to installation, easily placed down the wishbone bush tubes, then either side of this bearing are spacers machined form 7075-T6 Hard Anodised aluminium. These spacers have an o-ring seal placed on them before being inserted into the bearing, with sufficient grease applied first. There is no need to tighten these in a particular position like rubber bushes, and as they are fully sealed they will not require any maintenance. The kit comprises 14 shorter bearing assemblies and 2 longer bearing assemblies for the front end of the rear lower wishbones. A combination of Moly Fortified and Sienne Grease is recommended for their installation. This kit has been tested in the Britcar 6 hour race this year and the wishbones felt tight at the beginning, then loosened up after the 9 hours of the event, which is perfect.• 15mm PTFE lined spherical bearings• Aluminium spacers machined in 7075-T6 and HARD ANODISED• Fully O-ring sealed
The so called "bump steer" has substantially negative effects on the vehicle´s dynamics, thus affecting cornering ability and straight-line stability. The self-steering behaviour of the rear axle creates:•oversteer, which is caused by an increased "toe-out" of the rear wheels under bump in corners.•straight-line instability at higher speeds - especially on highway & track.•pushing the car over the race track´s curbs creates an unwanted movement of the rear axle.•instability of the car under heavy braking. The aims of the KOMO-TEC toe link-kit including the kit´s specification can be described as follows:•assure more precise control of the rear suspension by the use of rose-jointed links and heavy-duty connecting rods to remove free play across the rear wheels;•left/right hand threaded high-performance Unibal joints and hardened distance washers;•ultimate strength forged chrome rose joints - made of high specification chrome-molybdenum steel (42CrMo4) - stronger than EN40;•non-flexible stainless steel rods with high bending resistance;•12.9 grade high tensile bolts (1300 N/mm²);•maintainance-free and fully sealed rose joints;•all rods, plugs and nuts are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel. The kit is easy to install by DIY workout. Just mount it before final professional riding geometry adjustment and fine-tuned individual suspension setup.
Shock Servicing Öhlins / Nitron (per damper)
Shock Servicing:
A suspension damper is exposed to high thermal and mechanical loads and does a great job keeping the vehicle safe and controlled on the road! The shock absorbers used in your Lotus (refers to Nitron and Öhlins products) are very high-quality components with very low dimensional tolerances, which makes it even more important that all components work well. For this reason, the suspension dampers should be continuously checked and overhauled in order to maintain their function and performance. This is the only way to guarantee 100% performance and maximum reliability.
What is being done:
The service includes labor costs as well as the spare parts required for revision / dismantling. The components are checked for damage, all relevant seals will be replaced and the damper is filled with fresh oil under vacuum. Damaged and / or worn components that are not exchanged as standard are not included. A cost estimate can be done in advance (additional costs, if necessary, see below). Both the Öhlins dampers and the Nitron 2way and 3way dampers are also tested on the test bench.
How is the procedure:
The chassis parts must be cleaned and sent in for service. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee for soiled submissions. The time required for the revision is approx. 2 weeks + shipping time (please inquire in advance if necessary) and should therefore take place outside of the season.
What is the recommendation (manufacturer information):
Every 20-30,000 km for road-use, annually service for racetrack-drivers
Prices (per damper unit):
Öhlins TTX36 = 315 €
Öhlins R&T = € 220
Nitron NTR 1way = 220 €
Nitron NTR 2way / 3way = 290 €
Cleaning fee (if necessary) = 40 €
Estimate processing fee (without implementation) = 60 €
Plus added neccessary parts!
Send it to: Komo-Tec GmbH, Robert-Bosch-Straße 20, 56743 Mendig, DE. After that the parts go to UK which means there are further costs for VAT and transport, but this is calculated in the upper prices.
The Unibal drop link replaces the existing plastic joints between antil roll bar and front wishbone. The Unibal drop link enables a slack-free movement of the anti roll bar and therefore a more exact performance of the bar and less roll angle.<br>

There you go... doing new wishbone bushes, cleaning all parts and you're still looking at old and rusty wishbone bolts. Not quite nice, so we created a complete kit for you to replace all of these rusty (or bent!!) old bolts for shiny new ones.To prevent you from going wrong, we package and label all bolts in seperate bags, so you can easily identify which has to go where. These are the same specification bolts as being used by Lotus while building the car. The only difference is the plating we're using a heavy plating which should stop the bolts from rusting for a long time.As a bonus, we throw a new bolt kit in for the dampers and we're taking out eventualities (is your car equipped with nylon ARB brackets or rubber ARB brackets?) We just supply all bolts which could possibly be used in the suspension of your car! Total of 26 bolts including nyloc nuts and washers.
